About the Tour
In the north the old slate mines of Snowdonia now boast the longest zip wire in the world and inside one of the old slate mines can be found a range of activities, including trampolining!
Water sports can be enjoyed at many of Wales’ lakes and the long and rugged coastline provides many opportunities to go coasteering or kayaking, plus, many more water sports including diving and surfing

Day by Day Itinerary
Activity Plus Tour
Day 1 – Fly from your home country to Wales.
Day 2 – Arrive Cardiff Wales Airport. After completing arrival formalities you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Cardiff, Wales’ capital city. The remainder of the day will be free at leisure to enable you to recover from the flight and prepare for the activities of the days ahead.
Day 3 – Morning transfer to one of the best and most famous mountain biking centres in the world where you can hire bikes and experience a variety of routes through the mountains. Walking, or, trekking alternatives are available. Afternoon transfer back to your hotel. B,L
Day 4 – Today’s activity is a walk along the Wales Coastal Path giving you the opportunity to enjoy the constantly changing and beautiful views out to sea. Return to your hotel later in the day for a well-deserved rest. B,L
Day 5 – Visit Cardiff Bay where programmes such as ‘Dr Who’, ‘Sherlock’, ‘Hinterland’, ‘Holby City’ and ‘Casualty’ were made. Opportunities to indulge in water-based activities, such as the white water rafting & kayaking centre, or, a boat ride around the bay.B
Day 6 – After a hearty breakfast, today will provide experiences galore – a zip wire ‘run’ above a disused quarry one of the UK’s longest, tallest and fastest zip slides, running 700 metres; try flyboarding, supported only by a column of water!; or take a less energetic ride on a Segway. Return to Cardiff to overnight. B,L
Day 7 – Taking a break from activity-oriented events today will provide you with the chance to descend into a deep coal mine and experience how coal was mined in Wales for many years. B,L
Day 8 – A day sightseeing in Cardiff, including the astonishing Cardiff Castle and the magical fairytale Castell Coch (Red Castle), a popular filming location, deep in the woods. The rest of the day will be at leisure until dinner will be served at your hotel. B,L,D
Day 9 – After breakfast there will be an appropriately timed transfer to Cardiff Wales Airport for your return flight to your home country. B
